Newbie question, but could someone detail the uses of the high power USB ports, and are there any mis-uses for these as well?

High power? Or high-speed? I haven't heard of high-power USB ports, but the only thing I can think of is that they'd supply more than the 500mA that is currently USB standard, so you could run external hard drives and scanners and stuff without needing an extra power wart.

Cool, thanks. I had suspicions, but wasnt sure. You can still throw any USB device in there anyway, correct?
