Just wondering what the highest resolution you can get in a ~13" notebook is. Is seem like for WS it is 1280 x 800. I was wondering if anyone offered 1440 x 900.

By the same token for 14" notebooks, does anyone offer higher than 1440 x 900???

    Thanks in advance! :)

The problem with the higher resolutions and smaller screen sizes is that text and graphics get to where they are too small to see. That and I would imagine getting more and more pixels into a smaller and smaller screen would get more and more expensive.

There are some very high res 12.1" tablet PCs, but I think 1280 x 800 is the limit at 13.3" and 1440 x 900 is the limit at 14.1" widescreen. However, you may find there are still a few 1400 x 1050 non-widescreen models around.

I know, I understand that. The main thing that drives me away from the 13" notebooks is that I just need a little more real estate than what is offered by 1280 x 800. Thanks for the info.

    Thanks!
