    Which do you recommend, for reliability and performance.
    Seagate
    Hitachi
    Also would I have any issues fitting these in a DV6500T.

    The hitachi drive is only a sata 150 drive, but that doesn't matter since neither comes close to maxing out the max transfer speed.
    Both are good drives, I've heard the hitachi is faster, but I haven't seen many tests with the new seagate. I like seagate because they offer a 5 year warranty on their drives (talk about standing behind the product you produce).
