I'm looking to upgrade my Macbook Pro drive and don't want to get the WD Scorpio, Samsung or Toshiba drives. Every single WD drive I've had since 1993 has died on me (~14 drives, dunno why I kept buying them), so I'm burned on WD.

Hitachi/IBM's, especially the TravelStars, have always treated me well and I was lucky enough to avoid the "DeathStar" models.

That being said, I know the 5K320 models were announced in Feb, but has anyone seen it being sold anywhere? They're not at Newegg yet. I want a 320GB one!

    Thanks

I'd wait for the Samsung Spinpoint M6 500GB, they should be available soon enough..

Really? The Samsung reviews on the M6 320GB on Newegg don't look very good...

Umm.. I see 1 somewhat bad review (out of 11), except for that one who probably received a bad drive, all reviews are good or great.
Also, at least one reviewer knocked the score down from 5 to 4 stars because he "Had to go buy a special screwdriver to upgrade [his] laptop".
