    Hitachi 7200 too hot?

    well before i installed the 7200rpm hdd hitachi, temps were in mid/high 30's C now with the 7200 it idles/sits in the mid/high 40s at 47 up to 50 even right now but it doesnt feel too hot? weird? its hotter than my CPU temp which is 45 atm any idea why its idling at like 10 degrees highet than the 5400 and how i can lower it back down? :O

    Its within safe range so don't worry about it. It spins faster so its bound to generate a little more heat.

    You could always use a cooling pad if you're that worried.
