Hey just found this might be old news:
HGST outs Touro Mobile Pro external hard drive and Travelstar 2.5-inch HDD
Amazon.com: HGST Touro Mobile Pro 1TB USB 3.0 Portable External Hard Drive, Black (0S03559): Computers & Accessories
Might be worth it for 1TB 7200 RPM internal drive (remove enclosure)?
I wonder what's in it, 7K1000 (maybe a Z7K1000)?

Fat Dragon Just this guy, you know?
According to the article, the Touro Mobile Pro is the 7200RPM, 9.5mm, 1TB TravelStar drive in an enclosure. I see no reason to expect that the external drive will be cheaper than the internal drive on the market (since it's the same drive, plus some hardware for external use). The TravelStar drive sounds pretty nice itself, though. Not sure if USB 3.0 would allow you to see the difference between 5400RPM and 7200RPM for external.
Hitachi Touro Mobile Pro 1TB?
