    According to the article, the Touro Mobile Pro is the 7200RPM, 9.5mm, 1TB TravelStar drive in an enclosure. I see no reason to expect that the external drive will be cheaper than the internal drive on the market (since it's the same drive, plus some hardware for external use). The TravelStar drive sounds pretty nice itself, though. Not sure if USB 3.0 would allow you to see the difference between 5400RPM and 7200RPM for external.
