    If it delivers the claimed 1.4W read / write power consumption and 0.5W idle power then it will give a useful boost to battery life as well as running very cool.

    It uses two 250gb platters, so it should perform similar to the 500gb Wetern digital 5400rpm drive.

    Yeah, I think it'll be a great HDD, prob similar to the 5K320.

    All BEVTs have a had a high power consumption, but yeah real-world performance is gonna be the same.
