I've built my own laptop with the cabinet shown in this page : http://www.powernotebooks.com/viewsystem.php?sysId=2239

After installing the memory, harddrive,Graphiccard and prosessor in to the laptop I tried to turn it on. The screen doesn't even react.... I hear det comp turning on and no beeping. I hear two short ''Purrs'' probably from the harddrive. Anyone out there that can help me with this?

    Thanks

The 9262 uses desktop processors, so which one did you pick?
Not all socket 775 processors will work in that laptop.

As far as the startup goes, it seems like you have either the wrong cpu installed, or possibly the memory in your system is not good.
Try powering the system up with one memory card at a time and see if any combination's will start it up.

If all else fails, remove all harddrives, (secondary graphics card - if you have one), wireless, bluetooth, tv tuner, from your system, and try powering it up.

Also make sure everything is connected properly, and make sure no wireless antennas are let exposed to the motherboard, they have metal ends, which could short the motherboard.

When you built the system, were you grounded?
If not you may have destroyed your system from static electricity.
Always wear rubber shoes, and never build a laptop in a room with a static driven carpet. Always ground yourself to something metal before working on electronics.
