I have that cheap default aluminium enclosure for my samsung HDD (2.5').....
I went to buy a new one since mine is slightly damaged & dont wanna risk damaging HDD in case of impact...

So at the shop the plastic case was more expensive but the guy said plastic case is not good as it causes too much heat to build up...

Can anyone recommend which ones are better ?...i want the one which is impact proof.

It'll be hard to find external 2.5" HDD that is impact proof. The more stuff you have to prevent hard drive failure, the bigger it will be. In my experience, the WD Passport work well, and the heat isn't that bad. I have compared it to my Hitachi HD inside a Vantec enclosure and the heat dissipation is pretty much the same.
