Just as the topic says.
My new computer is a PowerPro R 12:17 680 (basically a reshelled MSI that is sold by Power Notebooks).
How would I know which SSD drive would be compatible with my computer? I went to Power Notebooks first, since they sell hard drives, but they only sell the regular non-SSD ones. And I would hate to buy an SSD through Amazon or something and have it not work with my laptop.
Same question applies for getting a Blu Ray Writer drive.

Most 2.5" SATA SSD drives (which is pretty much any of the ones on the market) should work. For the Blu-ray drive, it's probably any 12.7mm SATA drive and you should be able to swap the drive bezel afterwards (check that the eject button and the eject pinhole match up).

If it has a SATA bay, it'll work. Most of them, including yours, accept 9.5mm height drives, though some smaller notebooks only accept 7mm height drives.
I'd take a look at the Crucial M4, Plextor M3, Intel 330, or Samsung 830 (7mm height only, but you can use spacers to fill the other 2.5mm). Wouldn't recommend any other brands.
How Do I Know This SSD Drive is Compatible With My Computer?
