Was looking for an extra drive as well as one for an external hard drive enclosure for movies etc as the 256 ssd gets full pretty fast.

I've never done this sort of thing so forgive me for asking but do they make ultra slim external enclosures for laptop hdds? What connection type should I be looking for gor fastest data transfer?

    Thanks

All of the 9.5MM drives should fit fine. :)

And yes, external enclosures for 2.5" drives usually aren't much bigger than the drives themselves. Plus they're USB powered, so only one cord.
