Greetings people, recently i have got my MSI GX700E
    t7500
    8600mgt
    2gb ram

Is there ANY way to change the 8600mgt?
I mean if i spend 1000 bucks or anything, because i would really need to change it to a 8800m gtx.. this 8600m gt sucks hard after playing 8800gts on my desktop..

    Thanks for the replies

^While true for most notebooks, the some exotics have replaceable cards.

However, I believe it's MXM II, which means that the 8600m GT is as high as it gets.

Happens to the best of us. I'm getting a 8800GTX notebook soon. But I can only imagine being in your seat a couple of years from now.

Did you consult NBR before buying that laptop? ;)

That's why NBR exists. So we can choose our laptops wisely before buying them. We can't always be fooled by "marketing ploys" [such as the "gaming laptop" moniker].

Also, that's quite an expensive laptop, considering a few months ago you could get a laptop with those specs for around $1000 [of course cheaper now, too], and now, you can even get an 8800M GTS laptop for $1350.

Well, you could just sell your current laptop and buy a new one. :)

    -.-
And who the **** needs my laptop... i have opened the box, etc..
Even if i could sell it, it would worth 1500 bucks instead of 2000

That's still good enough. If you HAVE to play modern games, then that will have to suffice. Sell it while people are ready to pay well for it. Then buy a new laptop. The gateway that scythie should also be fine, with a 8800M.
