I don't see why not. You'll need to figure out a few specification first, then find the appropriate caddy to hold the HDD in the ODD slot. You'll also need to either migrate all the data from your HDD to your SSD, or start fresh with a clean install of Windows (probably the safest bet). You may need to burn a recovery disc first before removing the current HDD.

    You need to know:

Height of ODD - either 9.5mm or 12.7mm. Guessing, your's looks like a thin one, but measure.

Interface of HDD - likely SATA (doesn't matter if it's SATA 2 or 3)
Interface of ODD - likely SATA also, but I believe some may still be IDE or PATA

Once you have this info, you can look for an appropriate caddy. There are many available on eBay for cheap, and many have had success with those. I would just caution you to be sure to closely examine the details of the listing, as there are many varieties of these caddies. You want to find one with the proper specifications and with a faceplate design that is either removeable or is acceptably shaped to fit your laptop.

You also may be able to find an online retailer who actually lists a specific fitment for your machine. Those seem to be a little more expensive, but would make sense if you don't want to mess with eBay. You may even check with Samsung to see if they offer such an accessory.

    Best of luck,

    AM.
