Does anyone have any tips that will help me get the most out of my new computer and a partitioned drive? Ive never had a partitioned drive before so thanks in advance.

The only advantige is that you can keep your documents and personal files seperate from programs and so on. There is no advantage in speed or anything. Maybe less defragmentation but this is a very minimal effect.
To seperate your files I suggest moveing the My documents folder onto the 2nd partition and keeping all your files there. Then install all programs on C: like normal. When you reformat C: and reinstall windows the files on D: are still save. -
I completely agree with wave. When you come to the time when you need to format the computer you'll thank yourself for storing all those important documents on a different partition from the operating system. However be aware that some programs might not function properfy after a reinstall if installed on a different partition, Most in my experience do however still work.

Well first you just act casual, but confident. Get on with the small talk and somewhere along the lines offer to buy her a few drinks. After you notice how she becomes more friendly and her defenses are down. Then you can start to move in for the kill. Make sure you use lots of lube so when your burning files at high rpm the heat doesnt build up too much.
.... something like that
my fav thing with a partitioned drive is setting up a dual boot so I can use both xp and vista. Also its good if your prone to having to do full formats due to bad computer habits, you can format just the OS portion and keep your media intact.
How can i take advantage of a partitioned Hard Drive?
