i jsut got my v4000t today and i ahve some ram i ordered last week for it i just need to know how to take off the keyboard or watever and put in the ram

Not familiar with your particular computer, but by all means there should just be a panel that you take off on the bottom of the computer. One screw, two tops!! It should be unbelievably easy

Some Compaqs have a compartment on the bottom, which is usually only one dimm slote. The other is located under the keyboard. It really all depends on the model.
If you do a search on HP's website, they will provide detailed instructions for yout particular model. -

Well if you are using the right size screw driver is should come out easy. If you have a glasses repair kit should do it.
