My laptop's GPU temperature is higher than before. I would like to open my case to check for a broken fan? How do I open my Sager NP2096 case?
Can I have the case open while my computer's running to see if the fan is broken or not?

Do not open up the computer while it is running. You draw the line with desktops on that.
Sager or Clevo should have a service manual, otherwise you may be able to scrap up something off the internet.
EDIT: If you post a topic requesting advice on opening it up in the Sager and Clevo subforum, they may be able to help you. -
thanks

SoundOf1HandClapping Was once a Forge
Put load on the system and then put your hand by the exhaust vent.

but the thing is someone told me my model has multiple fans, so one can be broken and I can still feel air blowing.

I have a NP2096 and I disassembled the machine to clean it. I can tell you there is only one coolfan in it for both CPU and GPU.

@soviet:
Thanks. That's very helpful. It solved my problem completely.
I posted there because someone recommended me to post there instead. This thread wasn't closed by a moderator yet and people continued posting here... I didn't think people troll here about such trivial things... -
Well, S.S. does tend to be a bit on the acerbic side, but cross-posting does happen to be against the forum rules.

Moderators here generally won't close threads unless asked, or unless it's heading into territory that's against the rules.
How do I open my NP2096 to check fan?
