    1GB Memory

    Intel Pentium
    Dual Core
    Processor T2330

I have had this for 10 mths and just find it slow how do I get this upgraded so it performs quicker?

What HDD do you got? Usualy the vaio'' have the VERY SLOW 4200rpm ones. i noticed HUGE different just changing that one. Before i could have 2 movies runnings simultaneous while surfing, thus a lill lag (1-2sec freeze) from time to time when doing alot of stuf. With the new 7200rpm drive i can do alot at the same time without any loss of performance.

The original HDD is decreasing the performance pretty much i think!

Along with upgrading the ram to atleast 2GB you'll probably note a huge different too.

the VGN-CR22G/B has a 120GB 5400rpm HDD.. so i don't think hard drive is the problem..but it'd help if you upgrade to a hard driver with faster rpm or higher density..

upgrade the memory to 2GB, and you will see a significant performance increase

The most cost effective upgrade is upgrading the memory to 2gb, and than the next best upgrade is the harddrive. Upgrading to a 160gb, 250gb or 320gb latest generation 7200rpm drive will show a huge performance increase in loading times.
Than the cpu can always be upgraded but that will be expensive an will require that you take your whole system apart.
