    How do i know how many unused ram slots i have?

    I am have an alienware arrea51 m5500 laptop with 1gb (2X512) i used a thing called CPUz to find out how many ram slots i have and it said 4 and two were in use. plz help me find how many slots i have available cuz i might want to upgrade soon and its good to know things like this.

    most laptops only have 2 ram slots... i suppose it's possible to put 4 in a larger laptop... i've just never heard of such a thing.

    According to Crucial...its has only 2 slots, not 4.
