Just as the title says how do you remove a CPU? What do you use to remove the CPU out of its socket? bare hand? clippers?

Are you asking as to how to handle the CPU once you've removed the heatsink or whatever else was in the way?

If so, unscrew any CPU screws, and ground yourself first, then remove it. Make sure the laptop is unplugged and the battery has been removed.

I use bare hand. Once it's "unlocked" you just lift it. Don't know if this is the "right" way though :)

Depending on your notebook, the harder part would be actually getting to the CPU.
