I was wondering how to do this since canned air seems to only go so far.
Is it a simple process? Is it time consuming? Do I need any special tools?

I think you should remove the plastic panel above the keyboard and open 3 screws, it's a little tedious and you might break something but nothing will go wrong if you are careful enough.[This is at least the case with my brother's M1210]

hmmm, your link for the M1210 goes to a 1501. and could you be a little more descriptive please?

No it's forum's auto-parsing that is mixing up.I didn't set any links.

Thanks Mujtaba. I'll try to remove my keyboard as soon as I can get my hands on a set of screwdrivers.
