I undervolted my duo core t2400 by about .200V for every multiplier, and I was wondering if that had any effects on my overall system performance and power. So, has undervolting the system given my computer less ability to do things like push graphics in games and run high resource programs?

It should not affect performance. As long as your processor/system is stable with the undervolt, you should not see a difference in performance. The only thing that undervolting should do is to lower the voltage and lower your laptops temp.

hmm~~ depends on what program applications are using. If running some complicated calculation for a long time, it should be a little bit slow down the performance. Overall not any drop the performance to run regular application such as searching the net with brower, words, powerpoint, basic games....

I don't see why there should be any drop in performance regardless of the load, as long as one does not lock the CPU at a lower multiplier. The operations per clock is the same only the voltage is different and hence the temps are lower.

Which will be the advantage of undervolting your CPU? More battery life? Or just lower temperature?

from my understanding, undervolting should not affect performance at all
the only negative effect i could think of is that it might cause instability if you lower it too much, but if you are careful, undervolting by a small amount should be safe in most situation

the advantage to me seems to far outweigh that risk
you get longer battery life and a cooler notebook

Cooler notebook decreases the risk of hardware malfunction. Undervolting helps the most at the highest multipliers as they can generally undervolt better than lower multipliers. Battery life in most cases will improve slightly - 10-15min. In some cases, however, like with my ZV6000 undervolting helped me much more with battery life.
