your best option for the screen price wise is ebay.

The replacement of a screen takes about 30 minutes to 1 hour. There is two ways to do the replacement. The first option is to remove the screen assembly from the laptop first, and then to take the assembly appart. The second option is to take the screen assembly apart while it is still on the laptop.

The laptop assembly is composed of a bezel (front palstic), a lid, an inverter (located inside), a screen (located inside), a display cable (located inside), lid catch (located inside), wifi antenna (located inside), a microphone (in some laptops), bluetooth (in some laptops), a webcam (in some laptop).

If you look in ebay (UK), one seller has illustrated all the steps on how to take the screen assembly apart.

    hope this helps.
