How fast can your cpu go?
-
2.5GHz on each core.
-
Do you mean the stock speed, or with overclocking? If the latter, it depends on the specific cpu.
Mine is 1.9Ghz per core. -
Commander Wolf can i haz broadwell?
Mine can do 65mph when I drive on the freeway. Does that count?
-
Intel® Core 2 Duo T9600 @ 2.8 GHz
-
T7500 @ 2.2 GHz
-
P8400 @ 2.26GHz
-
2.4GHz P8400 (or P8600?)
I wish it was a bit quicker but it runs the programs I need. -
r we just comparing c2ds?
-
TL-58 @1.9GHz -
Intels and amds cpus. Overclock speed and stock.
-
Mines 2.0Ghz... do i tick box 2 or 3
-
P8400 @ 2.26GHz per core
-
-
3.8 ghz dual core
-
Either box.sorry i didnt notice that .

Intel Machines:
Dell E1505: T7400 2.16Ghz dual core
Lenovo T61: T7300 2.00 Ghz dual core
Voodoo envy M360: Pentium M 760 at 2.0Ghz single core
AMD Machines:
OCTI-TRON: Opteron 2347HE 1.9GHz 8 cores running at 2.2Ghz per core
Voodoo envy U709: Opteron 185 at 2.6Ghz Dual core
Voodoo envy M855: Athlon 64 3200+ at 2Ghz
keep in mind all of the voodoo's do not work, and the lenovo i never use
So really its just the E1505 and the octi-tron that i use
Please note all of these are laptops, the octi-tron is homemade

T7200 2Ghz c2d.
rendered useless by a blown GFX chip :-D -
2.0 ghz
-
2.2 ghz and 1.6ghz. i miss my 3.0 quad sager
-
T5750 @ stock (2.0 GHz). Ticked the second box, because it's from the lower performance lineup
-
this poll is pointless.
I have a P4 at 2.66GHz .. and yet it's 4 times slower than my T7500 which is on 2.2GHz. So how fast your CPU is does not compare proportionally to the clock speed that it's using.
the 2GHz option appears at 2 places
the 2.8GHz option is missing
no option above 3.8GHz
I would assume that people don't use CPUs below 500MHz, but still that's missing too
- so what are we talking about here ?!?!?!?! -
only c2d and the amd equalivant.

How did you get your T7600 up to 3.8Ghz ????????????
Seriously, thats insane if its true
K-TRON -
Intel Core 2 Duo - T9300
(Sony SZ71VN/X) -
2 cores @ 1.6Ghz each.
-
Single-core AMD Turion 64 MT-30 running at 1.59Ghz
-
I had posted screenies of the X9000, T5200 and the Celeron in random threads, dunno where the screenies are now. The X9000 and T7600, both ES, were overclocked in a modded aopen i975xa-ydg.
The Celeron M 420 has been sold, won't talk about the Celeron M 373, and the T5200 is running OCed in my notebook (which I cannot disassemble to install the T7600
).

See my signature for my CPU.

I voted my p8400 @2.26ghz
I also have
t7100 @ 1.8ghz
t5800 @ 2.0ghz -
King of Interns Simply a laptop enthusiast
e6600 @ 2.84ghz closer to 2.9 ghz + section I guess
-
T9600 at 2.8 ghz
-
I remember the screenshots of the X9000, T5200 and Celery, but i do not recall the T7600 benchies. I guess it is possible, but that is one hell of an overclock. 2.33 to 3.8, I commend you
Its a shame that screw wont come loose, or you would have one awesome laptop cpu.

Mr._Kubelwagen More machine now than man
T7500 @ 2.2 GHz.
-
T7600 @ 2.33Ghz
Why do people say "on each core" ?Isn't that crystal clear if you have a CPU with 2 cores? I do not know of any CPU with 2 cores that can run both cores at different speeds
Or can someone update me on that one?
-
I knew I should've gone 3.8 GHz Pentium 4 instead! Then I'd be better off in this poll (2.2 GHz Core 2 is what I got). And it actually might've been faster for single-threaded apps after overclocking.
But it's quite true that Pentium 4 users have a huge advantage in this poll.
-
Yeah i know of that one core can be disabled but none that can run at a different frequency than the other coreHence i'm asking
-
Commander Wolf can i haz broadwell?
-
Core 2 Duo T9800 @ 2.93Ghz
