Mine has wrote 14.5TB to the Nand and has had 2 reallocation events, otherwise i have had zero problems![]()
I cannot get any app to show the temperature though, but the Plextor Tool shows it in the green, but does not give an number.

81 hours, 905 GB temps are always below 30 C with Sager in my sig. John have you already tried CrystalDiskINFO or HWINFO32/64?

This one's pretty much brand new, 82 power-on hours, 513 GB written. I have one in another Samsung right now, and two not in use, I'll get those later. Really should get the info for the one in the other laptop since I'll be selling it soon.

Here's the 840 EVO I was working off of in my Asus laptop, before I figured out I hated the Asus. This one actually got 1.15 TB TB of writes over 672 power on hours but is still fine. Note that CrystalDiskInfo doesn't necessarily list accurate SMART information in that section but still gets the correct information in the upper section.

Higher than usual writes due to constant benchmarking for a few months, since stopped. Also just noticed that CRC error count is 3, not sure where that came from but will keep an eye on it. Otherwise haven't experienced any problems.

Here's my 1TB 840 EVO. 3.72TB written over 4000 hours, seems okay to me.
EDIT: Hmm, I've also seem to have started getting some CRC errors.

Here's the OCZ Vector from my old Samsung Series7...along with the built-in 8 GB caching drive which was clearly never used.
The Vector, on the other hand...6000+ power-on hours and 7.9 TB of actual writes. I used that fairly heavily. Still shows a 99% healthy status though, which I'm not surprised at (trust me, DO THE MATH! I did).

I've had sammy 830 128gb and it had 8gb after a year of usage and around 500 power on cycles. Now im on crucial m500 240gb and i dont really care how much i use it. Only turned off indexation, hibernation and i dont realy remember if system restore is on or off.
My brother has sammy 470 256gb with 60tb written and no issues so far.
We are long past point where we should treat ssds like delicate flowers and should just enjoy speeds they offer
