2GB... probs gonna upgrade to 3.25GB soon.
-
Now 4GB but only available 3.25 on XPS M1210
. I think I will be back 3GB because dual channel still run with 2GB + 1GB...
-
Got 2GB in the current laptop but will get 4GB with the next one
-
4GB yay! Although crappy vista only sees 3gb, I plan to double boot linux and the 4gb will rock my world...
-
I upgraded to 4GB from 2GB on my Inspiron 1420 using Vista Home Premium with a T5450 and noticed that my WEI RAM score remained 4.5 what is up with that? I know the numbers are a little shady but was expecting at least a little boost. Any ideas?
-
Getting 4GB in my yet-to-be-purchased Sager NP5793.
-
3GB, but possible more in the (late) future.
-
4GB, just cos I get large discounts and wanted a max spec system!
-
2 gigs here, I could always upgrade to 4 gigs if need be
-
you dont need 4 gb to max out the score. just need overclocked or gaming ram.
i never have more thn 2gb on my laptops. on my desktop i do have 8gb. -
I have 2GB's of RAM right now but will be upgrading to 4GB's soon.
-
Well considering I just bought the new Gateway P-6831FX Laptop that comes with 3GB of ram included within it, I would say I'm pretty proud to be sitting on 3GB of RAM in just my laptop. My old desktop computer only had 1.5GB of RAM but it done what it needed to too say the least.
*hints the username I signed up with because I think I'm in love with my laptop lol* -
This doesn't reflect if the voter has vista or xp which would normally make the user upgrade to 2 if using vista.
-
4 GB on the shiny new Inspiron 1420 I just ordered--if I ever upgrade to a system with 64-bit capability, I'm well prepped!
Unless Intel comes up with something that wants more than 4 GB in the future--which IS unlikely I think. The desktop I'm currently running has only 256 MB of RAM (and running XP Pro!). It works slower than a buffalo cart.
-
2GB and still not enough IMHO for 64bit Vista...
-
3GB Crew represent.
-
I have 4 GB (4,096 MB) of DDR2 RAM in 2 2 GB (2,048 MB) SO-DIMMS, at 800 MHz (PC2-6400). Timings are: CL5 5-5-18 2T. Laptop is in my signature. :3
-
4 gigabytes with 1.21 jiggawats.
-
I have a toshiba m105, well my lovely m105, with 2,5 gb
-
I have 4GB running with Vista 64. Works extremely well.
-
4Gb on the X205, 3Gb on the P105.
-
2 GB. I have no need for more, as the highest I've actually seen (when not playing slightly heavy games) was only at 60-70% usage. That's only about 1.4 gigs at max. An upgrade to 3 gigs would be a total waste IMO.
-
The Fire Snake Notebook Virtuoso
4GB in mine.
-
2 cuz i'm cheap
-
4 gigs and lovin it =D
-
2 GB cause that's my notebook limits
-
4 gig here!
-
512mb on my EeePC, 2gb on my desktop, 3gb on my Asus F8.
I chose 3gb because it's the highest I have. -
actually 3gb is more than enuf... but since ram are **** cheap nowadays.... upgraded to 4gb with just +RM30 ~ USD9 ~ £5...why not...
-
4gb here, upgraded RAM, undervolted the CPU, and moved up to Windows 7 = win.
-
In the new laptop (Gateway) 4Gb
and the old Vaio had 1 gb of ram but i've upgraded it to 1.5 Gb -
4gb in my ms 1722
2gb in my viao -
SomeFormOFhuman has the dumbest username.
There should be a >4GB option.
I am using 6GB; sad to say but it's still not enough for my needs. I need 8GB my next computer. I hit 5.5GB everytime on my usage; Photoshop, AutoCAD, 3ds Max, Sketchup, CorelDRAW, etc. As of writing this, I'm now hitting at 5.67GB just on Photoshop (CS4 64bit) alone on a single .psd file with just Firefox and Photoshop running in the background. -
My Vaio came with 4GB - so that's what it has.
My old Medion has 1GB - upgraded from 512 - but it only runs XP (badly) and Suse 10 (what do I do with it ?
)
My mother's Medion has 2GB
Another old Medion, now with my grandfather has 512MB
(and our first laptop, sadly deceased, had 256MB - that was about 8 years ago) -
1GB in my Asus, although plan on upgrading it in the future, particularly because of Vista and Windows 7.
-
4GB although task manager rarely shows above 50% usage.
-
King of Interns Simply a laptop enthusiast
4GB purely for sh*ts and giggles. Can't even address all of it even in 64 bit
-
Y'know, it's probably time for a new poll for this. This one's been open several months longer than the previous one, and I've been noticing how the percentage of people voting "4 GB" has steadily crept up over time. If you found this a year ago on the Wayback Machine it would be a far lower percentage than 20%.
Chaz, other mods, time for a new poll with some higher options? -
4Gb, no plans to upgrade
-
4Gb with 32bit Vista
-
3gb in my laptop, 8gb in my desktop.
-
4gig on my XPS M1730 running Vista Ultimate 64bit
-
4gb in my laptop
-
100tb Ram!
-
I know that Servers can use insane amounts of RAM - but I don't think even a supercomputer uses that much RAM. -
Hmm, I'm at 1.5GB in Vista Business right now, haven't had a problem yet. Probably going to upgrade to 2.5GB (max in the W7S) shortly, it should last me through 7 as well.
-
What if by happenstance it is 8GB?
-
Yeah maybe they should add a "more than 4GB" option, with 64-bit becoming more and more common even on laptops nowadays [and of course with hardware being able to support more RAM too].
-
I slapped in 2gigs on arrival of this notebook and Vista Ultimate 32bit 1/07. When this V6000T gives up the ghost we'll get a dedicated graphics job if integrated doesn't get much better.
-
3GB ram and I only hit 3GB usage once.
How much RAM do you have in your laptop?
