I searched on the stickys and used google, but I couldn't find a link that would give me the answer. If a mod has to delete the thread because of redundancy, could you please post a link to where I can find out the answer.
Again, How much can I safely overclock my Q9000?

there's no set point for OCing. every chip is different. just keep upping your clock speed in small increments until you stability issues and/or BSODs. ballpark guess would be maybe 2.2-2.3GHZ.

If there was a set number, Intel would just clock the chips there and call it a day.
Luckily there is little risk involved in overclocking anymore (can go up in really small increments if you want and hardware seems to be more forgiving), you bump it up a little, check for stability, bump it up, when you crash go down a level and then run an extended stability test. -
What Hep said - and keep in mind that since you've got two CPU dies on one chip, you're going to be generating more heat when overclocking than with a dual-core.
