Hi guys, I don't know if I am doing this correctly, but I want to perform a secure erase on my Intel SSD X25-M.
How do I begin to create a bootable CD that will contain HDDErase to detect my SSD?

    According to this website (pcper):
    http://www.pcper.com/article.php?aid=669&type=expert&pid=6
if I download their LINK and extract the contents, I get an .exe application called "HDDERASE"

Now my question is: How do I get this application onto a bootable CD so that I can erase my SSD?

Sorry for the noobish question. I've done searches and burnts too many CD to go on not knowing.

i'm not too sure but did you try to burn it as an ISO file? im not familiar with that application but any time you need to create a bootable disk you usually need to burn it as an iso.
