I currently own an HP dv9580 and it has 2GB. I want to upgrade to 4GB but I heard that Vista Premium 32-bit can only use 3GB. So I'll either upgrade my RAM to 3 or 4 GB.
1)Will changing the RAM on my laptop be easy?
2)What will I need to buy?
3)Will changing my RAM void my warranty?

    Thanks in advance :)

Awesome! Upgrading system memory is one of the most cost effective ways to improve the performance of your system.

    Yes.

If you want to max out the memory your OS can use (about 3GB), then I strongly recommend that you purchase a kit of 4GB (2 x 2GB) of DDR2 800MHz SO-DIMM memory. You might want to look at this this:

    OCZ 4GB (2 x 2GB) 200-Pin DDR2 SO-DIMM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400)

    Nope!
