I'd like to verify that I have the most current version of the firmware on my Intel X25-M Solid State Drive, 160GB SATA II 2.5in, MLC so that I can avoid running the installation of the newest firmware if I already have the most current version. The SSD came installed from the factory on my HP HDX18. I received the laptop on 5/4/09. I can't see any way to find the firmware version in the BIOS or in System Information.

    Thanks for any help.

    Thank you so much!

It looks like I've got the older version. unfortunately, there's no way to use the update tool on an HDX18 without taking out the drive and installing it on another computer.
