    How to check the laptop's rpm?

    Hello to all techie guys out there!! I was wondering if there's a way for me to check the rpm of my laptop? Can anybody tell me where to go in my laptop so I can check the rpm? I've tried clicking RUN, the type in the box the word DXDIAG.... But the rpm is not shown... Thanks a lot for helping me.. More power to you guys!

    Use HDTune to show you the model. If the rpm isnt there, put the model into google.

    rpm of what, the fan(s) or the hard drive?

    Everest will show you rpm of both HDD and Fan. Can't think of any other rpms in NB. :D

    I'm hot for RPM's too :p

    I usually use a slow motion camera and just try to get as many flips as i can before my laptop crashes into a wall/the ground :D

    Other than that the answers everyone else gave you will work perfectly. Though if its just the Hard drive your curious about check the model number in your device manager and you can just look it up (assuming its not a SSD)

    Easiest way to tell is go to your Device manager and google the HDs model.
