    Hi

I have a question about how to How to clone from larger SSD (Intel X25M 160 gb) to smaller SSD (Samgsung 830 128gb) - the used part of Intel is 90 gb.
    Many thanks in advance.

assuming you have only one partition, reduce the size of it to match the size of the new SSD via "Computer Administration" or some other partitioning tool.
I strongly advice to make a backup before doing this!
After shrinking any imaging tool should work.

I would recommend reducing the size of the OS partition before cloning to the 128 GIG drive. You will be using well over 70% of the drive if this is not done. There are many threads hear explaining how to do this (reduce page file size, disable hibernate, etc)

You can buy a fairly cheap hardware cloner off newegg....I am not sure where I saw it or what it was called but i thought it said you could clone larger drives to smaller drives as long as space permitted and it figured it out on its own. Just look around newegg for hardrive cloners and check their supported features.

    Thanks everyone.

I have another question that I found warning message " 1228972 bad" (see attached image) during the AS SSD score test. Any suggestion for solution?
