I've heard its possible to connect to the internet with a mobile phone. How is this accomplished?

Is there any disadvantage of connecting to the internet via mobile phone?

Would it be faster since its not calling via a landline, or actually slower?

Is there any software or hardware that I need to have in order to connect to the internet via mobile phone?

    regards,

    Mike

    depends on the phones specs

your cell phone provider has the details on how as long as your phone is supported

also if your phone has wireless then perhaps you can connect to your wifi router
