I've got an S-Video cable from my laptop TV out to my TV input in, but nothing is happening. When I use the Fn+F5 for my Acer, there is only the laptop icon option. Can anyone guide me? Thanks!

You need to go to Display Properties | Settings | select your primary display | Advanced | someplace you should be able to switch to a TV display. For ATI devices, it'll be under the Displays tab.

Easier way, Right click desktop, Properties settings, Display, select the non primary monitor and click "Extend my desktop onto this display"

I think it depends on which tv you have.Cuz if it is old version,it means it cant make enough refresh rates. You better learn what is the refresh rate of tv,if it is not enough(which is about 50-60 at least),then u must try at another tv

Well, when I tried it didn't let me use my CRT television as my primary display monitor. The picture on the CRT TV only showed up when I opened up Windows Media Player.
