Ok, don't flame me for this seemingly stupid question, but I need some instructions on how to install a SSD on a laptop (with Vista).

Is there a need to change settings in BIOS? What about the thing on AHCI/ATA thingy... sorry for being a nOob

A full guide will be helpful :)

    Thanks for helping ;)

No need to feel ashamed for it, we all started on the Computer World not knowing much.

As Quicklite said, the installation is straight-forward and the same as a Normal HDD.

You might want to use this guide to optimize Vista to work with your SSD after than you install it, originally posted by MR.Moo:
