    I use Vista Ultimate.

    How to partition the drives?

Is it possible using the Vista Built-in utility?
How is the step by step guide?

If I must use 3rd party application, please give me FREEWARE references.

    Thank you very much.

Vista can do it with built in functions and it wont even lose data.

I can explan it but I will just link the first google page I found for you:

There are free 3rd party aps out there that are more powerful but this is probably all you need.

Yes, that is sweet. I did a clean install and went from 1 to 2 partitions using Vista during the install and it worked like a champ. I would recommend it rather than something free (well, unless you are cleaning off a recovery partition - Sony apparently does something to lock theirs - neither Vista nor Acronis TI 11 allows me to remove it).
