So I got a new Video card to replace the one that died in my laptop. To replace it I've had to remove the heatsink for both the Vcard and the processor. I have a tube of thermal paste for the install, but I'd like to know what to use to remove the old stuff ans any other suggestions

Some people use a little rubbing alcohol and a Q-tip to remove the old thermal paste.

I use 90% rubbing alcohol and a 100% cotton cloth.
