Hello guys, I'm on the verge of selling my 870M (and anxiously waiting for the arrival of my 970M ) but I want some tips on how to prepare the package for shipping the card. I'm thinking of USPS Priority Mail, since its the most cost-effective way. I have bubble wrap and carton box, but I still have to acquire a anti-static bag to put the card itself into it.

    Any advice is welcome!

When you have the anti-static bag, you'll have everything covered, make sure that there is plenty of padding/bubble wrap as I wouldn't trust the people handling the package, the quality of the handling can be rather variable.

Also, make sure to ship it with a tracking number for it.

I would definetly do all of this.. I would also add some insurance etc on top in case USPS decides to break anything/lose your package...

That depends on the overall worth of the package, but for a mobile GPU, it's definitely something worth getting, you may make a little less profit that way, but at least you're sure that you'll get the money still if something happens to the package in transit.

That's interesting to know... Any ideas on how much it costs to add a insurance to this kind of package?

gabrielmocan, don't forget about delivery confirmation, it's a must. Insurance cost depends both on package type and insurance amount.

I do three layers. 1st is the anti static bag. 2nd bubble wrap. 3rd a small sturdy cardboard box to send it in. A very small box. Hunt around your house and you will find something.
