    Hi, everyone,
I was planning on upgrading my Mobile AMD Sempron 3000 to an AMD Turion 64 Mobile MT37. I have an Acer Aspire 3003WLCi, and recently flashed the BIOS to the 3A27 version. From what I've heard, its upgradable, but I just had one question: How do I remove the back pannel to access the processor? If someone could provide details on how to do this this would be great. Also, any recomendations for some good thermal paste?
    Cheers, Matt M

The cpu can be accessed by removing the cover(with the vents) located right next to the Windows sticker. The upgrade would have been very easy except that there was 1 screw(I think) on the heatsink which is located underneath a thin strip of plastic, in order to access this you would probably need to do some major disassembly. Since I didnt do a complete disassembly of my 3003, I dont know the exact steps but I hope this helps a bit.

Get Arctic Silver 5, a small drop of it should do well. Remember to clean any remaining thermal paste off of the heatsink before applying AS5.

I'm just curious, did you get anywhere with the upgrade yet? I'm considering doing the same thing and I was wondering if you ran into any trouble.
