    Hi,

My question may seem strange  , but the matter is that I recently started to use a notebook, before I was using a station computer. I wanted to ask:
whether the charging device should be always connected to a notebook, or it is necessary to wait when the battery is empty then recharge a notebook again? What are the instructions of using a notebook? Please make it clear for me, thank you in advance :) .

Have a look at the Battery Guide for answers to all those questions.

This site has an excellent guide coincidently called the battery guide which will answer all your questions and many more it is a must read.

But my 2 cents on the questions are. No you do not need to wait for the battery to fully drain before recharging, Li-Ion battery's do not suffer from "memory effect". As a matter of fact smaller charges are better, but if you need to use most of the battery don't worry about that either. All the advice about prolonging battery life in the guide is correct and useful but for a person who uses a notebook it can be impractical so don't get overly hung up on it, all batteries will die eventually and they are meant to be used. So my advice is do what ever is practical for you and don't stress buying a battery in 2 years is not the end of the world.
