Hi, I don't know if this is the right place to post this question but I really want to ask this question.

I bought a Sager NP8690 laptop at $2600 on December 2009. And I want to sell it because I do not need it anymore.

Does anyone know how to sell an almost new laptop? If I bought it at $2600, what is the right price to sell it again? The quality is almost new.

If anyone knows any way(like websites) that I can use to sell it, please let me know. Thank you very much in advance.

I usually list them here on NBR, ebay and craigslist.com. I'd say you'd probably get the highest sale from ebay. If you list your laptop on craigslist, make sure you deal locally.

What's the spec on your Sager?

Yeah, I'm also looking around to sell my old Sager. The problem is that I put it on ebay and craigslist but not luck fro couple of days. I guess would have better luck if I had 10 positive feeds and could use 'buy it now' option.

it depends what brand is it, i don't know too much about yours

usually, apple has best value for used market, mac will only lose about 10% for a month used . Like , if you bought it for 1200 , you can list it about 1120 for buy it now.
after all fees from ebay and paypal, you should get around 1000 cash , just take 10% off your buy it now price

dell refurbished products are worthless , you must lose about at least 20%..

NBR may be a good place to sell yours

However, I found lots of ppl are selling their either brand new or used over priced, because most ppl come to this forum are considered as smart.

If you are not selling it for a good deal, prolly no one will take it.
Don't trust those ppl reply the threads and said their prices are good deals, they just be nice or lie.

When selling to an ebay buyer, make sure you ship to a confirmed address and that you keep the tracking number. Don't accept anything but paypal on ebay.
if you receive a payment email, check the paypal account before shipping, if there is no indication of the payment being pending, then the buyer is trying to scam you.

i bought a dell precision m4400 for 1130, sold it locally for 1100 cash.
except i kept the 130w slim power supply.

i strongly believe that local businessmen type people are just a little more naive...
