    How to tell if my DVD drive can burn CDs/DVDs or not?

    Look it up in the device manager and google the drive name.

    Look at the sticker on the drive or look in the device manager under 'DVD/CD-ROM Drives'. It should list the model number which you can google. Also it is often marked on the drive bezel.

    All I see is HL DT ST DU10N everywhere, on the dvd drive itself, the device manager, etc. Google is no help here =/

    I guess nero info tools it is...
