hello, I found the harddrive (4200rpm.) for M30 is kind of slow and would like update it with a 7200rpm one.

however, I did not know how to install this new harddrive into the Toshiba M30. While, it is not as easy as make any memory update.

Anybody could give some suggestion or give me a link about how to do it? Thanks a lot in advance.

Installing the hard drive is the easy part, its the reinstalling all the software that is a drag. Usually the is a few screws on the bottom of the notebook. After taking them off, you slide the hard drive out. Take it out of the caddy and put the new one in. There may be an adapter on the end of the hard drive. If there is take it off and put it on the new one. Slide the new hard drive in, replace the screws and install the software. This should all be covered somewhere in the manual. Good luck.
