Hello there, I have just purchased a new processor for my Gateway T-1616, it's an AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-64 2.2 GHz. I cannot figure out how to remove my heatsink/fan assembly and I am afraid of breaking it. Could somebody please help me with this? Thanks in advance.

Chec out the guides on this page, and also cross-check your old CPU's architecture and the new TL-64's architecture....
Don't want to dishearten you, but have seen guys replacing 90nm CPUs with 65nm CPUs (AMDs), and getting incompabitility error messages in the BIOS....
