How well do you think these components will run Vista?

    - 1.66GHz Core 2 Duo processor, 667Mhz FSB, 2MB L2 Cache
    - 2GB DDRII SDRAM, 533Mhz FSB
    - NVidia GeForce Go7300 supporting 256MB TurboCache
    - 120GB Serial ATA 5400rpm HDD

Basically, how well do you think these components will handle Vista, with full Aero settings on? I like to multitask, mainly Firefox, iTunes, Windows Media Player, Limewire, MSN Live Messenger and Word, and I like to do so at speed, which means as little slowdown, crashing and freezing as possible. The only game I play on Windows is Football Manager. Europeans will tell you all about it. It's a stats processing football management simulator, more in common with an Excel spreadsheet than Half-Life 2! So its graphics requirements aren't that high.

Just Fine, slightly faster than they handle XP.

Excellent. Because it was the processor I was really worried about. Can't afford to go for a 1.83 or 2Ghz Core 2 Duo processor, and I was worried that the 1.66Ghz variant would be too slow. If you can assure me that it will run Vista Home Premium, multitasking all the applications I mentioned in the OP, with minimal (if any) bouts of slowdown, crashing and/or freezing, you will settled a lot of questions for me!

You are all set, a 1.66GHZ double core processor is more than fine for your tasks.
