This SSD has been running almost continuously for 4 years now. It was never OP'd or anything else done to it except a firmware update once. It has 34gb free space out of 223 usable.
How are the numbers? Anything I need to do to it?

hmmm....nope looking good there so far :) 8TB total host writes is nothing really... even with the minimum amount of 3-5000 write cycles ur drive will top out around 700-1200 TB. so to put it in perspective: worst case scenario - your drive has gone through about 1.2% of its lifetime :)

What has the normal workflow been for this drive in these past 4 years?

Does it still seem as snappy as when new, or has it slowed down noticeably?

It seems like you picked the SF based drive (and at the right capacity point too) that was optimal in 2011.

Looks like you got your money's worth. :)

Normal use has been internet browsing, email, online gaming, photoshop, downloading linux iso's, video editing.
yes it still seems pretty quick.

as for my moneys worth? The SSD was definitely worth it, although back in Aug 2011, this thing cost me $489.

Wow that's quite a bit... I did however pay about $250 for 128GB C300 SSD in Sep 2010... Now I look back and laugh how much cheaper SSD's have become..

Now they just need to bring 2TB drives down to under $300 and we'll be in a pretty good position.
