I'm looking to buy my next xps 1530 from there, and the outlet store has great deals on them. Yeah, so i've looked around on other forums to see a split 50/50 positive and negative experiences with the outlet store. I dont really want to buy used, but I could conceivably save up to 650 dollars, and considering I'm buying it myself and I'm still in high school, that's the way to go.

Posts your thoughts on the dell outlet store, success or not.

Thanks, I realize they have a 21 day warranty and extended warranties. !!!1

I bought a refurbed M1710 last year ...Let me say when it got here I would have sworn it was brand new..It was still covered with all the plastic protection on the lid and screen. I was more then satisfied.

Notebooks in the outlet stores come in 3 types:

    1. Returns from customers who decide on another notebook after receiving, cancelling a BTO order, not paying/CC bouncing
    2. Returns after xx days for various reasons(too big/small/weak/powerful/expensive)
    3. DOA notebooks that were fixed.
