    Can anyone who owne an HP dv9000z or t please let me know what tipe of firewire chipset is install? I cannot find the information anywhere and my external audio interface need a Texas Instrument chip to work properly.
    I just want to be sure before I buy the laptop.
    Would anyone please let me know?
    Right click My computer> properties> hardware> device manager> >open IEEE 1394 > what does it says under?
