    Hi guys...iv got a bit of a problem...

    im using a Hp dv200
    core 2 duo 1.73 ghz
    2gb ram
    go 7200 gfx..
    vista ultimate

    the problem im having is that im unable to change the brightness of my screen. when i use the fn + f7 button nothing happens..iv tried changing my graphics card driver but it didn't make any difference. im using the hp driver atm. anyone have any idea how i could fix this?.

    also when my laptop is set to the high performance power management setting my cpu gets limited to 800mhz...:S..it only goes up to the full 1.73 when i use balanced...any ideas on this..

    It would not be part of the graphics driver. But I dunno what's it called.

    Can't you just do a recovery or did you get it like that.
