I have a good opportunity to get one of these for 500, straight out of the box.

Are the HD controllers SATA 3.0 or 6.0? I have read of some that have 2 HDs. This one has no DVD, sou would 3 HDs be likely.

    Thanks,

The controllers on the chipset have to be SATA 6.0 as this is a 4th gen i7... I'm not sure about the Hard drive however as most hard drives I've seen in 2.5" factor are SATA 3.0... I believe that it has 1 hard drive slot however most likely to be 2... it doesn't have a DVD drive so the space is probably used for something else....
