    Hp touchpad not working

    Hi my hp probook 4320s touchpad is not working one day i was using it and it suddenly stopped working the on and off double click does not work when i go to mouse properties and then hardware it comes up in devices as Synaptics PS/2 port touchpad in location it says plugged into PS/2 mouse port and This device is working properly but under device settings in mouse properties it does not appear i am currently using a usb mouse .

    Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling your drivers? Your TP might also be set to turn off when an external mouse is connected.

    Yes ihave and i have restarted my laptop without external mouse so that is not a problem sorry for making new thread i wasnt sure if i had the thread in right place would you have any other suggestions thanks for your help

    You could always try the stock MS touchpad drivers instead of the synaptics.
